History


A 31-year-old woman with hereditary markedly over-projected nasal tip “deformity” ( Fig. 1.1A–H ).

Analysis of Preoperative Photos


The tip is dramatically over-projected relative to the dorsum. There is discontinuity between the upper and middle nasal thirds with undue widening of the middle third. The skin is thin, which permits the lower lateral cartilages to show through in relief, resulting in a bifid tip and infratip lobule. The left dome is higher than the right on base view.
