Indirect ophthalmoscopic examination or ultrasound to confirm presence and location of choroidal effusion. 2. Topical and oral steroids as inflammation warrants. Anesthesia: a. Peribulbar or retrobulbar with lid block. b. General anesthesia or retrobulbar plus lid block in uncooperative patient. 2. Prep and drape.
