We thank Drs Portaliou and Pallikaris for their interest in our editorial laying out the problems with pediatric intraocular lens power calculation and suggesting future methods to treat these problems. We are aware of several of these methods of adjusting the intraocular lens power in situ after surgery, but it was not the point of our editorial to cover all methods that are not generally available to the clinician today. We enthusiastically look forward to the day when they are.
